Frank Menschner Cup 2017 opens tomorrow for its second time. This lacrosse tournament is hosted by the Radotin Lacrosse Club and is played in their ever growing outdoor box court. For three straight days (September 7-9, 2017) there’s non-stop Lacrosse being play from noon or earlier until 9 or ten at night. Great for the fans in Radotin, the teams taking part and it’s for a great cause.

Unfortunately, Frank Menschner passed away a couple of years ago. From the stories I hear he was a Lacrosse legend who had a passion and gave back to Lacrosse. From the US, a huge Lacrosse fanatic discovered the Ales Herbresky Memorial in Radotin and was hooked. I hear that Frank went to the Memorial 15 times out of it’s 25-year history. He gave whatever he could to Czech and European Lacrosse. They gave him back something too. They grew Lacrosse and the cycle continues. LC Radotin now host this annual tournament in Frank Menschner’s name. Wherever Frank may be right now he is still growing the game.
