Berlin Open – Tournament Info
The Berlin Open is a massive field lacrosse tournament in Berlin, Germany. In 2018, they invited 16 men’s teams, 16 women’s teams AND also 8 youth teams. That’s a whopping total of 40 teams participating! Games on the Friday and Saturday will begin at 9 am and to until 8 pm. Sunday games will go from 9 am to 5 pm.
This has to be on top of my ‘Lacrosse Tournaments to see in Europe’ list. I am a big fan of Techno music (not EDM, the real stuff) and Berlin is one of the techno capitals of the world. Besides that I have heard and just know, that Berlin is a place to experience. The German saying about Berlin is: ‘Berlin is not Germany and Germany is not Berlin’.
